In the face of a critical scarcity of water resources, OCP Green Water (OGW), a subsidiary of the OCP Group, establishes itself as a key player in Morocco’s water sovereignty.
Founded in 2022, OGW is now the national pioneer in the production of unconventional source waters, combining seawater desalination and wastewater treatment, within a framework of circular economy and territorial impact.
In just four years, OCP Green Water has developed a unique model based on fast-track project management, cutting-edge technologies, and 100% integrated management to set up water production units and treatment plants.
Making carbon an ally for the climate and farmers
Through the Tourba project, a pioneer in Carbon Farming in Morocco, the OCP Group also explores the potential of conservation agriculture and Carbon Farming to restore soil health and sequester carbon.

Thanks to Tourba, over 2,000 Moroccan farmers are engaged in Carbon Farming and conservation agriculture programs.
Ambition by 2030: cover 6 million hectares in Africa and South America with a goal of sequestering 7 million tons of CO2 per year.
These initiatives are also supported by Al Moutmir, an initiative that promotes and democratizes conservation agriculture based on techniques such as direct seeding, crop rotation, and diversification of crops.

More than 20,000 direct jobs have been generated in Mzinda (Safi) and Meskala (Essaouira), around low-carbon industrial ecosystems focused on fertilization, by-products, and local resource valorization. Aiming to significantly strengthen the Group’s production capacities in phosphates and fertilizers, the SP2M program prioritizes impact and social innovation.
