    Gotion High-Tech, one of the world’s leading providers of green energy solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Khalid QALAM as President of its subsidiary, Gotion Power Morocco SA. Mr. Khalid QALAM will take on the executive leadership of the company with the support of Mr. Yang Chen, General Manager of Gotion Power Morocco SA. This appointment takes effect from September 1, 2024.

    The President of Gotion High-Tech, Mr. Li Zhen, and the members of the board of directors firmly believe that, due to his background, deep experience, and remarkable success in previous leadership roles, Mr. Khalid QALAM embodies the essential qualities required to contribute significantly to the overall development and management in all dimensions of Gotion Power Morocco SA, which is positioned as the first Gigafactory in the Middle East and North Africa region.

    The board of directors expresses its full confidence in the governance of Gotion Power Morocco SA and its future prospects and extends its best wishes to Mr. Khalid QALAM for much success in his new role. Mr. Li Zhen, President of Gotion High-Tech, stated: “We are deeply pleased with this appointment, as it represents a decisive step for Gotion High-Tech and its Gigafactory project in Morocco and the EMEA region.
