In a context marked by youth unemployment and difficulties in accessing jobs for low to moderately qualified profiles, Enfance Maghreb Avenir (EMA) launches AeroChance, a groundbreaking program aimed at facilitating the professional integration of vulnerable youth in the Greater Casablanca region. This initiative is part of a convergence dynamic between social issues and the growing skills demands of a strategic sector: aeronautics.
Developed in partnership with institutional players and specialized training organizations, AeroChance aims to create a sustainable bridge between social inclusion and high-tech industry, by preparing young people distanced from employment to integrate into a rapidly expanding industrial ecosystem in Morocco.
A Structuring Partnership with Safran
The program benefits from the active support of Safran, an international high-tech group and a major player in the global aeronautics sector. By getting involved in the launch of AeroChance alongside EMA, the group intends to contribute to the expansion of the local talent pool while strengthening the social grounding of the Moroccan aeronautics ecosystem.
This collaboration reflects a corporate social responsibility approach focused on sustainable employability, directly linked to the operational needs of the industry’s stakeholders.
A Tailored Program for Vulnerable Profiles
AeroChance targets youth aged 18 to 30, with education levels ranging from non-graduate to Bac+2. Selected with the support of public authorities, beneficiaries join a support path designed to remove barriers to employability and meet the requirements of the professional world.
The program, designed and implemented by EMA, emphasizes the strengthening of essential transversal skills: mastery of the French language, basic mathematics, general knowledge, as well as the acquisition of corporate codes, interpersonal skills, and expected behaviors in professional environments. This preparation is crucial for securing future integration into the workplace.
Direct Access to Technical Training and Employment
At the end of this preparatory phase, the youth are directed towards technical training paths at the Institute of Aeronautical Professions. They undertake a specialized course lasting three to six months, tailored to meet actual market needs.
The uniqueness of this initiative lies in the commitment of industrial partners, who guarantee the professional integration of beneficiaries upon completion of the training. AeroChance thus positions itself as a true springboard to employment, rather than merely a theoretical training program.
Measurable Social Impact
With a capacity to accommodate 130 young people per year, AeroChance aims for a concrete and measurable social impact. The program simultaneously addresses two major challenges: providing professional prospects to youth in socially vulnerable situations and responding to the shortage of qualified skills expressed by aeronautics industry stakeholders.
By supporting this initiative, Safran continues a legacy of more than twenty years of sponsorship actions in favor of socio-professional integration, particularly through its foundations dedicated to inclusion and culture.
Through AeroChance, EMA and its partners illustrate an integrated approach to inclusion, where training, employment, and industrial development converge to transform the integration of youth into a true driver of social and economic growth.
