The Attijariwafa bank Foundation has unveiled the results of the second edition of its national visual arts competition “ImagineYourCity”, which this year focused on climate urgency and environmental issues. The 2025 edition was a resounding success with 327 applications from all corners of Morocco.

A young and engaged artistic scene

The jury, composed of personalities from the art world and CSR – including gallery owner Abla Ababou, artist Zine El Abidine El Amine, CSR manager Mehdi Guedira, and art critic Mohamed Rachdi – selected four laureates for the quality, originality, and relevance of their artistic approach. Painters, photographers, videographers, and installation creators powerfully expressed their vision of a city in transition.

Twelve other works were designated as “favorites” by the jury and will be included in an upcoming exhibition, allowing these young artists to gain visibility.

    A springboard for emerging talents

Beyond recognition, the winners will benefit from professional support and access to exhibition opportunities, opening the doors to the national artistic scene. The Attijariwafa bank Foundation continues its commitment to culture and education, while promoting engaged creation on contemporary issues.

Through this competition, the Foundation reaffirms its desire to support young Moroccan talents and encourage artistic practices as vectors of reflection on the challenges of tomorrow.
