    – Visa, a global leader in digital payments, is excited to announce its participation in GITEX Africa 2024, which will take place from May 29 to 31 in Marrakech, Morocco. This major event will highlight the massive technological transformation and investment opportunities emerging in the region.

Visa’s presence at GITEX Africa as a partner in financial innovation underscores its unwavering commitment to promoting financial inclusion, encouraging innovation, and advocating for a cashless economy on the continent. The booth will be located in the “Future of Finance” section, offering an exciting and immersive experience that connects the cultural elements of Moroccan artisans with the modernity of digital payment acceptance.

In addition to showcasing its own innovations, and as part of Visa’s initiative to support startups and fintech entrepreneurs in Africa, Visa will provide 32 booths in the startup area for cohorts 1 and 2 of the Visa Africa fintech acceleration program. Each startup will have a co-branded booth to showcase its products and innovations, thus providing them with the opportunity to connect with local and international visitors to the event. This initiative highlights Visa’s commitment to fostering the next generation of fintech innovators and encouraging global collaboration within the startup ecosystem.
