The CDG Foundation (Caisse de dépôt et de gestion) announced on Wednesday the launch of “DIGIT@CTION,” a program to support digital social innovation aimed at Moroccan associations.

This initiative aims to strengthen the social impact of the associative fabric by integrating innovative digital solutions, according to a CDG statement, specifying that “DIGIT@CTION” will select 20 associative projects that will benefit from technical and financial support to integrate innovative digital solutions.

The goal is to assist these associations in optimizing the quality and effectiveness of their social services through digital means, as well as in expanding their reach and enabling them to reach a larger number of beneficiaries via suitable digital tools, the same source indicates.

A two-day hackathon will then be organized to select the 10 most promising projects that will receive personalized support for the development of their projects over the course of a month.

Finally, six winning projects will benefit from funding and long-term support to ensure the production of their solutions while guaranteeing the sustainability and impact of their digital social innovation.

With “DIGIT@CTION,” the CDG Foundation reaffirms its ambition to promote a more resilient and innovative associative ecosystem by fully harnessing the potential of digital technology for social development.

Interested associations are invited to submit their applications via the CDG Foundation’s social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram).
