The first edition of the “Sustainable Mornings,” an event dedicated to raising awareness and promoting sustainability and the circular economy in Morocco, will take place on June 3 in Casablanca, initiated by Consonews.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this first edition will be organized under the theme “The Circular Economy: Accelerating the Transition to a More Sustainable Morocco,” in the context of World Environment Day, a symbolic date to highlight ecological issues and encourage local action, according to a statement from Consonews.

It will bring together representatives from the public and private sectors, experts, researchers, and civil society actors, focusing on issues of recycling, waste management, and food waste, the same source adds.

The “Sustainable Mornings” 2025 indeed aims to provide reflections on concrete solutions to the various challenges in the environmental field and to promote and highlight innovative projects already underway in Morocco.

The event will feature debates and round tables on a series of themes, namely “Recycling and the Circular Economy: How to Accelerate Change?”, “Fighting Food Waste: Feedback and New Approaches,” and “Consumer Awareness: The Role of Media, Education, and Regulation.”

The “Sustainable Mornings” 2025 will see the participation of recycling companies, agri-food and distribution sectors, startups, specialized researchers and consultants, representatives of public and territorial institutions, environmental and consumer advocacy associations, as well as journalists and content creators engaged in the ecological transition.

With this first edition, the “Sustainable Mornings” are part of a national dynamic to promote a more sustainable development model, based on cooperation among actors and collective intelligence.
