Hailed as the eighth place in the global ranking of the Climate Performance Index (CCPI 2025) unveiled during COP29 in Baku, Morocco reaffirms its leadership in climate action by hosting a major event that aims to redefine the challenges of sustainable mobility at the regional level. In the context of the new ambition cycle of NDC 3.0 launched during COP29, the Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025, which will take place at Anfa Park in Casablanca from February 11 to 13, 2025, positions itself not only as a space for exchanges between public and private actors but also as a catalyst for change for Africa and the entire region, fostering an environment conducive to innovation, the development of competitive solutions for businesses, and the adoption of best practices.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, and the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, this event embodies the national commitment to an accelerated transition towards greener and more inclusive mobility. The Green Impact Expo & Summit aims to go beyond mere theoretical discussions by translating major global objectives into concrete solutions and actions, both for businesses, which will find a space to enhance their competitiveness through access to new markets, technologies, and expertise, and for citizens.

Regulatory, financial, technical, technological, and digitalization levers will be at the center of the discussions. Special emphasis will be placed on incentives for innovation that improve the resilience and performance of economic actors, as well as on monitoring and networking tools aimed at creating a sustainable ecosystem of engaged actors. This approach will ensure continuity beyond the event and support the gradual adoption of sustainable solutions.

This major event stands out for its collaborative approach, bringing together key players from the public sector, private sector, civil society, academia, and tech. The presence of partners such as FTL-CGEM, the initiator of this event, and the contribution of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE) testify to the importance of such synergy. The establishment of a framework for voluntary cooperation marks a decisive step towards creating a sustainable dynamic, reinforced by the potential deployment of information sharing and best practice tools to support the transition to sustainable mobility.

On the international level, the event gains momentum by designating France as the guest country, reflecting the strength of the historical ties uniting the two countries and their shared willingness to move forward together towards an ambitious sustainable transition. Alongside other leading players such as the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Canada, and China, this international configuration gives a new dimension to the summit. Sweden, moreover, will benefit from a dedicated space, showcasing its innovative solutions. Deeply rooted in Africa, this ecosystem linked to the most advanced countries will become a hub for exchanges and cooperation, conducive to strengthening skills and the competitiveness of companies engaged in the decarbonization of transport.

The Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE), as an emanation of organized civil society, actively contributes to defining the scientific program, ensuring an inclusive approach aligned with societal aspirations. All these provisions aim to make the Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025 an essential meeting point to support, in a concrete and sustainable manner, the transition towards greener, more resilient, and more competitive mobility.

An ecosystem of committed partners for sustainable mobility

The Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025 benefits from the support of major players engaged in the transition towards greener and more inclusive mobility. Leading the way, our Ultimate Sponsors – CDG, Huawei, and Yutong – play a key role in driving innovation and actively contributing to the transformation of the sector.
