Stellantis Morocco and Attawfiq Microfinance, a subsidiary of the BCP Group, announced in Casablanca the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at facilitating access to electric mobility for micro-entrepreneurs and Very Small Enterprises (VSEs) across the Kingdom. This alliance seeks to overcome one of the main barriers to the adoption of clean vehicles in the professional segment: financing.

At the core of this collaboration is the establishment of a simple, accessible microcredit solution tailored to ground realities, designed to finance the acquisition of the FIAT TRIS, a 100% electric tricycle intended for urban delivery and light logistics. Through this initiative, the two partners aim to provide concrete solutions to the challenges of sustainable mobility, economic competitiveness, and modernization of the working tools for small entrepreneurs.

One of the major advantages of the partnership lies in the territorial network of Attawfiq Microfinance, which has over 480 agencies covering the entire national territory. This local presence allows it to reach both professionals in major urban centers and those in peri-urban and rural areas, ensuring broader access to financing solutions and promoting financial inclusion on a national scale.

Beyond its economic dimension, the initiative is part of an approach with a significant social and environmental impact. It aims to support the transition to clean mobility, reduce emissions related to last-mile transport, and foster inclusive entrepreneurship by providing micro-entrepreneurs with a modern, efficient, and economically viable working tool.

For Yves Peyrot Des Gachons, General Director of Stellantis Morocco, this partnership illustrates the group’s commitment to supporting the evolution of mobility in Morocco by combining technological innovation with social impact, by offering professionals a concrete, responsible solution that meets their needs. Meanwhile, Hicham Kharrou, General Director of Attawfiq Microfinance, emphasizes that this alliance is fully aligned with the institution’s mission, empowering micro-entrepreneurs to adopt competitive clean mobility through accessible financing backed by a solid territorial presence.

Produced within Stellantis’s industrial ecosystem, the FIAT TRIS embodies a new generation of micromobility solutions. Compact, robust, and zero-emission, this electric tricycle has been conceived to address the challenges of urban transport and support the sustainable transformation of professional practices. Through this initiative, Stellantis Morocco and Attawfiq Microfinance are thus laying the groundwork for a model that combines industry, inclusive finance, and energy transition in service of local economic development.
