Giving children without family support concrete access to care and well-being is the goal of the new partnership between Siemens Healthineers and SOS Children’s Villages Morocco. The German company is committed to equipping health spaces in the SOS Villages of Dar Bouazza and Dakhla, thus providing children with a safe and suitable environment for their physical and psychological development.

This initiative aligns with Siemens Healthineers’ CSR strategy, which focuses on the health, education, and well-being of communities. Since 1985, SOS Children’s Villages Morocco has worked to provide each child with a stable and protective framework, and this project directly supports that mission while contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    ### Spaces Designed for Children’s Well-Being

On December 9, four new facilities were inaugurated at the SOS Village in Dar Bouazza in the presence of Amine Demnati, President of SOS Children’s Villages Morocco, and Gero Peters, General Director of Siemens Healthineers Morocco:

    – Psychomotor room
    – Psychology room
    – Infirmary
    – Speech therapy room

Each of these spaces is equipped with modern, ergonomic, and safe materials, allowing professionals to conduct sessions tailored to individual children, from psychomotricity to speech therapy.

    ### Equitable Access to Health for All Children

For Siemens Healthineers Morocco, health is a fundamental right. Through this project, the company aims to reduce inequalities in access to care and create conditions for every child to grow up in a safe and stimulating environment.

“By supporting these spaces, we are taking concrete action toward the Sustainable Development Goals and offering every child better chances to grow, learn, and thrive,” said Gero Peters during the inauguration. The director of communications at Siemens Healthineers Morocco, who led the project, added: “Seeing these spaces come to life and imagining the well-being they will bring to children without parental support is a source of profound satisfaction.”

    ### A Sustainable Societal Vision

This partnership illustrates Siemens Healthineers’ social responsibility: to go beyond business activities to strengthen solidarity, support communities, and foster a more inclusive future. With this concrete support, vulnerable children now have a framework suited to their development, thereby reinforcing the company’s commitment to a lasting positive impact on society.
