AgriEdge announced, during the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), the official launch of the new version of AquaEdge, its digital precision irrigation platform designed to assist farmers in optimizing water management.

Designed to address the growing challenges of water management in agriculture, this major update incorporates advanced features and enhanced agronomic expertise to promote more efficient, resource-saving, and climate-resilient agriculture, according to a statement from AgriEdge.

The intuitive interface and personalized recommendations allow for dynamic adjustments to irrigation based on the actual needs of crops, climatic conditions, and real-time data. The result: up to 35% water savings, without compromising yields.

“This new version of AquaEdge marks a turning point towards even more precise, resource-efficient, and sustainable irrigation. We are providing farmers with tools that are both simple and effective to produce better while preserving every drop of water,” emphasized Faissal Sehbaoui, General Director of AgriEdge, as quoted in the statement.

Key innovations for more efficient irrigation:

    • Improved irrigation uniformity map: a detailed reading of water distribution across the entire farm, allowing for monitoring of irrigation system performance and detection of moisture variations that could impact yield or crop quality.

    • Refined water balance model: more accurate estimates of soil moisture and water needs, based on the crop cycle, soil characteristics, weather forecasts, and the real-time water status of each plot.

    • Adaptation to irrigation systems: recommendations tailored to different types of systems (drip, pivot, gravity), taking into account the specific installations of each farm.

    • Redesigned user interface: a more intuitive, simplified dashboard accessible to all types of farmers for better data interpretation and decision-making.

    Concrete results on the ground:

    – Up to 35% water savings, thanks to real-time optimized irrigation

    – More uniform crop development, through precise geospatial monitoring of water needs

    – Anticipation of water stress and optimized input management

    – Reduction of energy and maintenance costs, thanks to more targeted and effective interventions

A step towards more sustainable agriculture

With this new version, AgriEdge positions AquaEdge as an essential technological lever to make irrigation a driver of sustainability and performance. By combining agronomic rigor, digital intelligence, and field accessibility, the solution enables farmers to optimize every drop of water while enhancing the resilience of their operations.
