SCIF reaches a strategic milestone with triple ISO certification.

It is a major milestone that the Chérifienne Society of Industrial and Railway Equipment (SCIF), a subsidiary of the YNNA group and an African reference in the manufacturing of industrial and railway equipment, has just achieved. In April 2025, the Casablanca-based company obtained the prestigious triple ISO certification, covering quality (ISO 9001:2015), health and safety at work (ISO 45001:2018), and the environment (ISO 14001:2015). This international recognition was awarded by Bureau Veritas.

This triple label rewards years of efforts in the continuous improvement of industrial processes and marks a new step in SCIF’s commitment to a growth model that is both efficient and responsible. Already certified ISO 9001 for several years, the company is thus expanding its field of excellence to two essential areas: the safety of its employees and environmental preservation.

These certifications add to two high-level industry distinctions obtained in 2023: EN 15085-2 CL1, specific to the manufacturing of railway vehicles and components, and ISO 3834-2, focused on fusion welding quality. With five internationally recognized certifications, SCIF consolidates its positioning as a reference industrial player, capable of aligning its practices with the most demanding standards.

The acquisition of ISO 14001, in particular, is based on a set of concrete measures implemented at production sites: training teams in industrial eco-driving, optimizing waste management, controlling emissions, monitoring noise pollution, and better management of inputs. These initiatives reflect a commitment to move from pledges to action.

This collective success is the result of rigorous work carried out over several years by SCIF teams. “The achievement of this triple certification complements the industry distinctions obtained in 2023. It reinforces our role as a leader in Africa and confirms our desire to offer reliable, secure, and sustainable industrial solutions,” emphasizes Ali Alami, General Director of SCIF.

By fully integrating the challenges of sustainable development into its industrial strategy, SCIF asserts itself more than ever as a forward-looking company, combining technical expertise and social responsibility.
