Glovo, the technological leader in multi-category delivery in Morocco, organized the “Glovo Road Safety Event” in Rabat to raise awareness among couriers about the importance of good driving, thereby ensuring their safety and that of other road users.

“The safety of couriers and all road users is a top priority for Glovo. This event, organized in Rabat, is part of a large awareness campaign launched in February 2023. To date, sessions have taken place in Casablanca, Marrakech, and Agadir. We are committed to continuing our efforts and developing new technologies to enhance safety on the roads,” says Nicolas Fato, Operations Director at Glovo Morocco.

Couriers in Rabat benefited from training led by experts, focused on techniques and recommendations to reduce the risk of accidents and improve driving skills. Practical advice for safely navigating urban traffic was provided. In addition to plenary sessions, interactive workshops, such as accident simulators, were offered. Participants also received information about the individual insurance provided by Glovo, covering accidents, sick leave, and parental leave.

At the end of the event, road safety materials were distributed, and participants were able to take part in a quiz to test their acquired knowledge. They also received participation certificates, attesting to their commitment to road safety.

This initiative is part of Glovo’s strategy to ensure the safety and well-being of couriers by providing them with ongoing training and resources tailored to their needs.
