The Kingdom has officially announced the establishment of the Morocco Digital for Sustainable Development (D4SD), a center of excellence dedicated to artificial intelligence and data science. The initiative was presented alongside the 80th United Nations General Assembly during a high-level side event organized by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and several major players in the digital ecosystem.

This Arab-African hub marks a new step in Morocco’s commitment to strengthening its digital leadership and positioning the Kingdom as a key player in digital transformation for sustainable development.

Part of the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, the D4SD aims to accelerate technological innovation and promote projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by providing a collaborative platform among public institutions, the private sector, and international organizations.
