Vivo Energy Morocco and the Zakoura Foundation are expanding their flagship educational program “Mama Tabiaa” to preschool children through a new partnership agreement for the period 2025-2027. This initiative aims to introduce the youngest to environmental issues from their first steps in school, using age-appropriate educational tools.

The program, which has already raised awareness among more than one million Moroccan children since its launch in 2015, is taking a new step. The educational kit will be completely revised, as will the dedicated digital platform, to better address current ecological challenges and the specific needs of young children.

This biennial agreement also includes the sponsorship of the 3rd edition of the National Competition for Pedagogical Innovation in Early Childhood (CNIPE), as well as a series of launch activities aimed at creating collective momentum around the program.

With this extension, Vivo Energy Morocco reaffirms its commitment to education for sustainable development. “We are convinced that good habits are formed from childhood. Through ‘Mama Tabiaa’, we hope to train generations of environmentally responsible citizens,” emphasizes Hind Mejjati Alami, Communication and CSR Director of Vivo Energy Morocco. Ultimately, the goal is to generalize the program to all schools in the country.

Rooted in interactive and playful pedagogy, “Mama Tabiaa” is based on seven thematic pillars: water, energy, biodiversity, waste management, renewable energies, solidarity, and environmental protection. Children participate in activities both in the classroom and in their neighborhood or village, with active involvement from families and the community.

The online platform www.mamatabiaa.ma, enriched with a MOOC for teachers since 2018, will continue to play a central role in disseminating the program. Support from the Ministry of National Education remains a major lever for its nationwide deployment.

Mohamed Zaari, General Director of the Zakoura Foundation, welcomes this strategic continuity: “Our shared vision with Vivo Energy Morocco is one of a Morocco where every child, from preschool, benefits from an education that incorporates environmental awareness. This new phase will allow us to consolidate our achievements while innovating for the future.”
