The Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN) is proud to announce the extension of its ISO 9001:2015 certification to all of its activities, awarded by Bureau Veritas Morocco.

This recognition crowns a rigorous approach to quality management, initiated in 2014 with the first ISO 9001:2008 certification of its Means Agency, which was the first structure of its kind certified in Africa. In 2018, this certification was updated to the ISO 9001:2015 version. Today, IRESEN takes a new step by covering all of its processes, thus strengthening its alignment with international quality standards.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification, awarded by Bureau Veritas, now extends to:

The Means Agency: Financial support and assistance for collaborative research and innovation projects.

The research center: Development and implementation of a network of R&D platforms and innovation applied to clean technologies.

This advancement is part of IRESEN’s quality policy, which aims to strengthen research infrastructures in the service of the scientific and industrial community, encourage collaborative innovation, and develop strategic partnerships to maximize the socio-economic impact of projects. It also demonstrates the institute’s commitment to providing services that comply with international standards and are tailored to the requirements of its partners and funders.

By consolidating its positioning at the national and international levels, IRESEN strengthens its key role in implementing Morocco’s ambitions in renewable energies. This certification also enhances collaborations with strategic players and promotes the transfer of know-how towards sustainable energy solutions.

Mr. Samir RACHIDI, General Director of IRESEN, states: “This extension marks a key milestone in our quest for excellence and crowns the efforts of the entire IRESEN team, which has actively engaged in the necessity of this project in record time. It strengthens our commitment to providing quality services to project holders and structuring our actions according to the best international practices.”

Through this certification, IRESEN reaffirms its commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, aligning its practices with international standards to better meet the expectations of its stakeholders.
