INNOVX announces the launch of the Athar Investment Fund, an impact investment fund designed to support the transformation of agricultural value chains in Africa. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, this fund aims to finance and support actors engaged in resilient agriculture, essential for the continent’s food security.

A responsible investment for a sustainable impact

Athar Investment Fund stands out with an investment strategy that combines economic performance with social and environmental impact. The fund establishes tailored financing mechanisms, adapted to the agricultural realities of Africa, to promote a more inclusive and resource-respectful agricultural model.

“We are rethinking the notion of performance by integrating economic, social, and ecological criteria into our investment decisions,” explains Marouane Mortabit, General Director of Athar Investment Fund.

In this perspective, the fund adopts a rigorous impact measurement methodology, taking into account major issues such as climate change, water resource management, and the resilience of agricultural models.

A lever for transformation for African agriculture

Athar Investment Fund mobilizes strategic and financial resources to support:

    • The agri-food transformation,
    • The development of sustainable agricultural infrastructures,
    • The structuring of agricultural sectors.

By positioning itself as a catalyst for change, the fund aims to promote a more resilient and sustainable African food ecosystem, putting inclusive finance and innovation at the service of agricultural enterprises.
