inDrive, the leader in the VTC sector in Morocco, has collaborated with an association to launch the second phase of the “Driver Well-being Program for People with Disabilities.” This initiative was marked by an event held in Casablanca in the presence of the inDrive Morocco team, the director of the Autonomy Pole of the association, and 30 of its members.

During this event, it was announced that inDrive continues its mission to fight against social injustice and support communities of drivers with disabilities in Morocco and the MENA region. This journey began with Badr El Din, a driver from Tangier with a disability whom inDrive supported last year. Building on this success, the company now aims to recruit a significant number of drivers with disabilities, starting with the members of the association.

The NGO actively supports this collaboration by connecting its members with inDrive and facilitating their integration onto the platform. This joint effort not only provides economic opportunities but also promotes the social inclusion of people with disabilities.

The director of the Autonomy Division of the association stated at the event: “Thanks to this collaboration with inDrive, we are opening the door to economic independence for people with disabilities, while actively contributing to deconstructing stereotypes and fighting against marginalization. This is a concrete opportunity for them to fully integrate into society.”

inDrive facilitates the registration of these drivers by providing personal assistance to address their questions and requests. Drivers with a driver’s license and a physical disability who wish to join the platform can contact the company’s support service. A representative from inDrive will provide them with personal consultations on how to use the service to earn money.

According to internal data, drivers with a physical disability are among the most customer-oriented and responsible, regularly receiving high average ratings from passengers.

Anas Taoussi, supervisor of driver operations in Morocco, states: “Initiatives like this have the potential to inspire other companies across various sectors to take similar actions to support their local communities. We hope that by setting an example of corporate social responsibility and compassion, inDrive’s initiative can trigger a ripple effect, encouraging other companies to think about how they can positively impact the lives of their stakeholders.”

With this initiative, inDrive continues to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility and support for communities, in Morocco and beyond.
