GROHE Morocco has completed the renovation of the restrooms and the equipping of a family home within the SOS Children’s Village of Dar Bouazza, as part of a partnership established with SOS Children’s Villages Morocco. This initiative aims to sustainably improve the living conditions of children deprived of parental protection.

The project involved a complete transformation of a house to make it fully functional and adapted to the daily needs of the children being cared for. The work was carried out with the operational support of the organization World Project, responsible for the on-the-ground implementation. Special attention was given to the sustainability of the installations, ease of maintenance, and the adaptation of the equipment for intensive and long-term use.

The stated goal is to ensure a stable, secure environment that meets hygiene standards, in which children can thrive in conditions conducive to their well-being and development.

### A Sustainable Living Environment for Residing Children

The SOS Children’s Village Dar Bouazza currently has eleven family homes and accommodates sixty-eight children under thirteen years old. The renovated house will host eight children, cared for over an average duration that can reach twenty years, alongside their SOS mother, according to the familial model advocated by the organization.

For SOS Children’s Villages Morocco, this operation is part of a strategy to consolidate existing infrastructure to ensure long-term support for the children accommodated. The association emphasizes that improving material conditions is a crucial lever for providing a balanced living environment conducive to flourishing.

### A Long-Term Partnership

From the perspective of GROHE Morocco, this initiative is part of a broader strategy to contribute to social development and improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations. The company highlights an approach focused on sustainable impact, favoring structural actions over one-off interventions.

This project follows other locally led actions by GROHE, particularly in the field of vocational training. The group recently launched the GIVE (GROHE Installer Vocational Training and Education) program at the Lalla Asmae Second Chance School in Casablanca, aimed at enhancing the technical skills of young people at risk of dropping out of school in jobs related to sanitary installations.

Through these initiatives that combine improvement of living conditions, education, and training, GROHE Morocco pursues a strategy of social engagement aimed at supporting the integration and development of younger generations, in partnership with specialized associative actors.
