Under the auspices of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Insertion, and Family, RSO IN MOROCCO will hold a Round Table on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel in Casablanca. This meeting will bring together experts, decision-makers, and key stakeholders from the private and public sectors, as well as academics.

The objective of this Round Table is to assess the challenges women face in the labor market in Morocco, analyze the socio-economic impacts of their increased participation in the economy, and present initiatives to promote equal opportunities and the inclusion of women in the professional world.

    The discussions will focus on:

    – The adoption of a gender approach as an imperative for Moroccan companies, in alignment with international and national reference frameworks, and in compliance with legal obligations.
    – The integration of a gender approach for inclusive and equitable governance.
    – The implementation of a gender approach within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Mr. Mohammed Aziz DERJ, President of RSO IN MOROCCO, emphasizes that “the gender approach is not just a matter of equity, but a crucial lever for sustainable development and business performance. We must work together to create an environment where every talent can thrive. This also contributes to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.”

Founded in 2013, the Association for the Development of Corporate Social Responsibility in Morocco brings together business leaders, senior executives, teachers, and academics. Their ambition is to develop and promote the values of Corporate Social Responsibility for Organizations and Individuals for sustainable, economically viable, socially equitable, and ecologically sustainable development.
