The Moroccan cluster “Green H2” and the Economic Development Agency of the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée region (France) “AD’OCC” signed a partnership on Wednesday in Montpellier to strengthen cooperation in the fields of Research and Development (R&D), industrialization, and training.

The agreement was signed by the president of the cluster, Mohammed Yahya Zniber, and the vice president of “AD’OCC” and the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée region, Jalil Benabdillah, in the presence of the Consul General of Morocco in Montpellier, Soumia Bouhamidi, during the 18th edition of the international renewable energy forum “EnerGaïa.”

As part of this forum, the “Green H2” cluster mobilized a delegation including several Moroccan companies, representatives from the Euromed University of Fès, the Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN), and the National Office of Electricity (ONEE).

An essential meeting point for stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, the “EnerGaïa” Forum offers environmental solutions for territories, cities, and industries engaged in the energy transition.

The Forum will address topics over two days (December 11-12) such as floating solar, agrivoltaics, self-consumption, renewable heat, biogas, green hydrogen, and decarbonization.
