The Insurance and Social Welfare Control Authority (ACAPS) and the Bank of France signed a cooperation agreement on Monday in Paris aimed at strengthening joint efforts in financial education.

According to a statement published on the ACAPS website, this agreement is part of the ongoing efforts by both institutions to promote a better financial culture among the general public.

It focuses on the use and adaptation of educational content designed to facilitate the understanding of basic financial concepts, including the collection of financial booklets, the same source reported.

In addition to developing educational materials tailored to the needs of various audiences, the cooperation also establishes a framework for regular exchanges on pedagogical practices, national strategies, and the tools used to enhance citizens’ financial independence.

This initiative supports ACAPS’s missions in protecting insured individuals and promoting financial education.

Indeed, it is part of the continuous actions of the Authority aimed at developing citizens’ ability to understand and demystify financial concepts related to insurance and social welfare, enabling them to make informed decisions and better comprehend their rights and obligations in this field, the statement concluded.
