    EU greenhouse gas emissions reduced by 7% in 2023.

    Greenhouse gas emissions from the European Union resulting from economic activities and households reached 3.4 billion tonnes of CO2 equivalents in 2023, down 7% from 2022 and 18% from 2013, Eurostat, the EU’s statistical office, reported on Monday.
