A partnership agreement was signed on Monday in Rabat between the Arts and Crafts School of Rabat (EAMR) and Ménara Holding Group to support the students and graduates of this school in training, research, innovation, and socio-economic integration.
The agreement was initialed by EAMR Director Mehdi Sebti and Ménara Holding Group President Mohamed Zahid during a ceremony attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour. This agreement is part of the national industrial transformation dynamic, placing human capital at the core of the Kingdom’s competitiveness and industrial sovereignty.
It reflects the shared commitment of the ministry and the two institutions to support the development of skills in line with the actual needs of the Moroccan industrial fabric, particularly in the areas of Industry 4.0, digitalization, applied artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Zahid emphasized that this partnership demonstrates the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting national academic institutions and contributing to the training of highly qualified engineers capable of meeting market needs.
“Through this cooperation, we aim to accelerate industrial transformation and make a concrete and sustainable contribution to building true industrial sovereignty,” he noted, adding that the collaboration between educational teams and Ménara Holding’s industrial experts will foster the emergence of innovative solutions tailored to competitiveness challenges and technological transition.
For his part, Mr. Sebti specified that the said agreement is based on five major areas of cooperation: initial training, continuing education, professional development of industrial sector personnel, research and development, and the establishment of common technological platforms.
According to him, this agreement holds significant strategic importance, allowing for the strengthening of ties between the school and Ménara Holding Group and the development of partnership projects benefiting industrial executives seeking collaboration with engineering schools.
Through this accord, EAMR and Ménara Holding commit to developing and consolidating continuing education, particularly through specialized certificates and Executive Education programs aimed at the group’s leaders, executives, and staff.
This partnership also aims to promote the professional integration of EAMR students by providing internship and integration opportunities within the group.
Additionally, both parties agree to pool their expertise to co-develop research and innovation projects that align with current industrial and technological challenges.
This partnership signifies a strong desire to enhance synergies between the academic world and the industrial sector, with the goal of training skills perfectly aligned with market demands. It thus contributes to the development of highly qualified human capital and the strengthening of the competitiveness of the national industry.
