Oulmès Mineral Water confirms its exemplary role in promoting sustainable practices by winning the 1st prize at the “Arabia CSR Awards 2024,” an important international distinction.

Always committed to respecting social responsibility, Oulmès Mineral Water has also been awarded the “Engaged CSR” label with “Exemplary” status by AFNOR, as well as the international label “Responsibility Europe,” thereby consolidating its position as a national and regional leader in sustainability and social responsibility, the company stated in a press release.

Thanks to the unwavering commitment of the company to promote ethical and sustainable practices, Oulmès Mineral Water has risen to the top of the MENA region by winning the 1st prize at the “Arabia CSR Awards 2024” in the “Large-Sized Enterprises” category, the same source added.

Furthermore, an award was presented to the company during the 17th edition of this eminent event, recognized as the benchmark for social responsibility in the MENA region.

Supported by institutions such as the “United Nations Global Compact” and the “League of Arab States,” this event highlights companies and organizations that stand out for their societal initiatives and contributions to environmental sustainability.

Regarding the award, which was created in 2008, it has attracted over 1,300 applications from 1,100 organizations across 15 Arab countries to date.

On the other hand, by obtaining the “Engaged CSR” label with “Exemplary” status and the international label “Responsibility Europe,” Oulmès Mineral Water has strengthened its position as a leader in the region in terms of social responsibility.

These notable distinctions, awarded by AFNOR, represent an essential and major standard for CSR at the European and global levels.

“These prestigious and important distinctions confirm our ongoing commitment to adopting best practices in CSR. By highlighting our values of transparency, inclusion, equity, and good governance, we continue our mission to generate a positive and sustainable impact for all our stakeholders, both nationally and internationally,” emphasizes the General Director of Oulmès Mineral Water, Naoufel Jellal.

To date, Oulmès Mineral Water stands out as the only Moroccan company to have obtained the “Engaged CSR Label” with “Exemplary Status.”

It is worth noting that the “Engaged CSR” label is based on the evaluation of 55 criteria, encompassing governance, social development, territorial anchoring, as well as modes of work and production.

These criteria are based on international references such as the ten principles of the “United Nations Global Compact” and the standards of the “Global Reporting Initiative” (GRI). This label also allows for continuous evaluation of the company’s contribution to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in relation to the 2030 agenda.

Oulmès Mineral Water reaffirms its determination to be a positive change agent in its sector and beyond. Through an integrated social responsibility strategy, the company demonstrates that economic performance can go hand in hand with sustainability.
