BMCI has announced the creation of a sustainable inclusive financing ISLF+ in favor of the microcredit association Al Amana, a first in the microfinance sector in Morocco. With an amount of 200 million dirhams, this financing aims to support Al Amana in its efforts for the financial inclusion of people who do not have access to products from traditional financial institutions.

This financing marks a turning point for Al Amana, which, with over 27 years of experience in the field, is dedicated to providing credit to micro-enterprises and very small enterprises (VSEs). The association will also integrate concrete actions to address environmental challenges.

As part of this initiative, Al Amana will implement a climate risk assessment system in the agricultural sector, thereby strengthening the resilience of micro-enterprises to the impacts of climate change, a crucial issue for sustainable development in Morocco. Additionally, support will be provided to enhance the skills of its salespeople with the help of the JuST Institute.

This project is part of BMCI’s sustainable development and financial inclusion strategy, highlighting its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote economic growth while preserving the environment and contributing to a greener, more inclusive, and sustainable economy. It results from effective synergy within BMCI and the Microfinance team of the BNP Paribas group.
