According to forecasts from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), renewable energy will contribute 24% of electricity production in the United States by 2025. The EIA anticipates a 3% increase in the total electricity production capacity in the country in 2024, followed by a 1% increase in 2025. “Renewable energy, primarily solar energy, will account for most of this growth,” said the EIA.
