The OCP Group continues to implement its international expansion strategy. Its subsidiary specializing in fertilization solutions, OCP Nutricrops, has received authorization to establish two new entities abroad, in France and India, according to decrees published in the official Bulletin on March 12, 2026.

This decision materializes a project initiated in 2025, following validation by the group’s governing bodies. It aligns with a desire to strengthen the group’s presence in designated priority markets by getting closer to consumption areas.

The first entity, OCP Nutricrops France, will be established as a French legal entity, fully owned by the group’s subsidiary. With a capital of 26 million euros, its mission will be to develop the group’s commercial activities in Europe and provide fertilization solutions tailored to the agricultural specifics of the continent.

The European market, characterized by stringent regulatory frameworks and intense competition, represents both a strategic challenge and a growth lever for the group, particularly in the sustainable fertilizer segment.

The second structure will be based in India, aimed at developing, producing, and marketing solutions tailored to the needs of the local market. This choice is driven by India’s significance in the phosphate fertilizers sector, where demand remains strong.

Through this establishment, OCP Nutricrops aims to enhance its proximity to local stakeholders while adapting to the regulatory and logistical constraints of the Indian market.

These initiatives reflect the group’s shift towards a development model based on innovation, sustainability, and local engagement. They also illustrate an evolution in its strategy, focusing on direct presence in international markets beyond mere exportation.
