L’Oréal Morocco celebrated the achievement of 65 hairdressing students during a certificate-awarding ceremony held at its Casablanca Hair Academy. This event marks the conclusion of the 2025 training cycle, led by the educational teams of the Professional Products Division, and heralds the entry into the job market of a new class of qualified hairstylists, poised to strengthen a rapidly evolving and high-demand sector.

    ### A Historic Commitment to Foundational Expertise

Hairdressing holds a central place in the history and identity of L’Oréal. Since the founding of the French Society of Hair Dyes, established in 1909 by Eugène Schueller—a pivotal act for the Group—the connection with hairstylists has continually strengthened. From the very beginning, L’Oréal has been built around hair innovation and a close collaboration with salon professionals.

Today, this relationship remains at the heart of the mission of the Professional Products Division, which serves hair salons and works toward the sustainable development of the hair industry for the benefit of professionals, consumers, and the entire ecosystem.

    ### The L’Oréal Professional Academy: A Hub of Excellence in Casablanca

To translate this heritage into concrete actions, L’Oréal Morocco relies on its Casablanca Hair Academy, a 400-square-meter space dedicated to knowledge transfer and skills development. A true hub of excellence, the Academy hosts continuous training sessions, masterclasses, product launches, and educational sessions aimed at hairstylists and partner schools.

Through this resource, L’Oréal Professional aims to prepare talents for the technical, creative, and entrepreneurial demands of a profession in constant change.

    ### Valuing Talent and Strengthening Youth Employability

During the ceremony, Laila Benjelloun, General Manager of L’Oréal Morocco, emphasized the strategic significance of this commitment. She highlighted that the certificate presentation symbolizes the Group’s sustainable investment in the Moroccan youth and the future of beauty professions.

She praised the rigor, passion, and hard work of the young graduates, now ready to enter a demanding sector, while underscoring that supporting new generations contributes to energizing local communities, enhancing employability, and opening up concrete professional opportunities. For L’Oréal Morocco, promoting the profession of hairstylist is a vital driver of economic and social development.

On his part, Yassine Najmi, General Manager of the Professional Products Division at L’Oréal Morocco, stressed the pivotal role played by the Division in the sustainable development of the hair industry. According to him, the ambition goes beyond mere technical training: it is about creating bridges between schools, emerging talents, and salons, and preparing the hairstylists of tomorrow to meet the demands of an ever-changing market.

    ### A Human and Expert Mobilization for the Industry

The Professional Products Division of L’Oréal Morocco has established a structured organization to support the transformation of the professional beauty industry. It relies on a team of four professional educators and two trainers dedicated to students, reinforced by a mobile field team that directly interacts with salons.

This mobilization ensures close support, disseminates best practices, and establishes high quality standards sustainably, both in terms of service and the safety and performance of hair care treatments.

    ### Raising Training Standards Nationwide

The initiatives led by L’Oréal Morocco align with a clear ambition: to promote the profession of hairstylist and contribute, alongside schools and industry stakeholders, to elevating training standards on a national scale. This dynamic is unfolding in several key cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, Fès, and Marrakech, to support the ecosystem where the demand for skills is greatest.

The Group’s commitment is also reflected in structural partnerships, such as the agreement signed with OFPPT for co-creating the first hairdressing curriculum, which includes a dedicated course and support for trainer development. At the international level, the Professional Products Division collaborates with a network of over 400,000 partner salons, sharing a common vision: to enhance the employability of young talents and build a stronger, higher-quality, and sustainable hair industry.
