Since April 2023, Zineb Bennouna has held the position of Corporate Social Responsibility and Communication Director at LafargeHolcim Morocco, where she oversees the group’s social responsibility policies and communication strategy. Her role involves integrating sustainability challenges into the core of the company’s strategy while guiding its cultural evolution and market positioning.
A graduate of ISCAE, where she obtained a degree in Marketing and Sales in 2004, she further enhanced her expertise with a specialized master’s in Marketing and Communication in 2010. Eager to develop her skills in innovation management and organizational transformation, she pursued a specialized master’s in Leadership and Innovative Projects at CentraleSupélec in 2019, before obtaining a certification in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Moroccan Institute of Directors in 2025.
Prior to joining LafargeHolcim Morocco, she spent more than fifteen years at Lydec, where she held the position of Deputy Director of Communication, Sustainable Development, and Innovation. During her time there, she contributed to the company’s transformation by integrating approaches that combined innovation, sustainable performance, and brand management.
At LafargeHolcim Morocco, her mission revolves around two main pillars. The first is to define and deploy the group’s CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with international standards such as ISO 26000 and the European CSRD directive. The second involves managing both internal and external communication, as well as strengthening the company’s brand image.
For Zineb Bennouna, corporate social responsibility should not be confined to a specific function but should represent an integrated cross-cutting dynamic across the entire value chain of the company.
Alongside her professional responsibilities, she is involved in several initiatives related to innovation and entrepreneurship. She serves as Vice President of the Numaya Foundation, a board member of Enactus Morocco, and part of the board at ISCAE Rabat. She also presides over the CSR Labelled Companies Club of CGEM.
Her commitment extends to supporting young talents through mentoring and training activities, particularly in the fields of innovation and social responsibility.
In 2025, her career was recognized with her inclusion in the ranking of the Top 100 Women Leaders in Africa, a recognition that highlights her role in promoting leadership based on sustainability and impact.
