His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, President of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, has given His High Instructions for the centers established by the Foundation in the fields of health, disability, and training to be made available to the underprivileged populations who are beneficiaries.
The immediate launch concerns 13 new Centers whose construction and equipment works have been completed, in eight prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom, indicates a statement from the Foundation, noting that these structures are part of the major intervention programs of the Foundation aimed at strengthening access to local healthcare, improving the care of people with disabilities, and supporting the training and socio-professional integration of young people.
These achievements fall under three main programs: the Proximity Medical Centers – Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity (CMP), the network of the Mohammed VI National Center for the Disabled (CNMH), and the national program to combat addictive behaviors, adds the same source.
In detail, a new CMP will be put into service in Salé with an investment of 85.5 million dirhams, bringing the number of currently operational units to six out of the twelve planned nationwide.
On the disability side, a new regional branch of the CNMH will open in Beni Mellal (30 million dirhams), which will bring the total number of centers under this network to nine across the Kingdom.
The city of El Aroui will benefit from a new hemodialysis center, costing 10 million dirhams, complementing the services of the neighboring Mohammed VI hospital, to improve the care of renal insufficiency patients.
The program to combat addictive behaviors continues its deployment with the opening of three new centers in Chefchaouen (6.5 million dirhams), Al Hoceima (6.5 million dirhams), and Beni Mellal (4.5 million dirhams). These additions will bring the total number of operational addiction centers to 18, spread across fifteen cities in the Kingdom.
Furthermore, six vocational training centers will also open their doors, targeting promising sectors adapted to market needs. These include the training center in metalworking and welding in Tit Mellil (94 million dirhams), the training center in agricultural professions in Souk El Arbaa (34 million dirhams), the training center in electrical and electronic professions in Sidi Othmane in Casablanca (32.5 million dirhams), the training center in tertiary professions in Oasis in Casablanca (25 million dirhams), the training center in tourism professions in Chefchaouen (15.2 million dirhams), and the training center in crafts in Chefchaouen (9.4 million dirhams).
These establishments aim to provide young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with concrete skills in high employability sectors.
Finally, a socio-educational center will open in Izemouren (3.5 million dirhams). This is the first structure of its kind in this locality within the province of Al Hoceima, intended to support young people in education and vocational initiation.
The management of these various centers will be ensured, according to the areas of intervention, by the different partners of the Foundation, namely the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Secretary of State responsible for Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion, as well as specialized associations.
With the opening of these new structures, the Foundation continues its commitment to better access to healthcare, training, and support for vulnerable populations, placing proximity and solidarity at the heart of its action.
