The city of Dakhla will host, on May 24 and 25, the second edition of the Green Days – Dakhla Green Days, themed “Together, let’s cultivate the good for all.”

Initiated by the Dakhla Bay Network Association and the Azura Group, in partnership with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and the Dakhla Lagoon Association, this event aims to be a citizen and educational platform aimed at promoting awareness of environmental protection, indicates a statement from the organizers.

This edition will emphasize the importance of preserving ecosystems and the contribution of innovative solutions, particularly those based on artificial intelligence (AI), in the fight against environmental disruptions, the statement highlights.

The program for these two days includes workshops and round tables addressing environmental issues related to the sustainable management of water, the preservation of wetlands and forests, as well as climate murals designed as playful tools for raising awareness of climate challenges, it adds.

Moreover, exhibition spaces will be set up to showcase environmental projects developed by 28 educational and university institutions in the region, as well as by associations active in the field, the same source informs.

Workshops on artificial intelligence applied to the environment, interactive educational activities, and debates on key themes such as the role of schools in training for ecological citizenship, corporate engagement through social responsibility (CSR), and the mobilization of civil society for sustainable and inclusive actions are also planned for the program, concludes the statement.
