Morocco and Hungary signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Rabat aimed at strengthening their partnership in the fields of environment and sustainable development.

**An agreement focused on ecological transition**

Signed by Leila Benali, Moroccan Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, and Péter Szijjártó, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, this agreement aims to promote joint initiatives in strategic sectors. The priorities include combating climate change, sustainable waste management, biodiversity conservation, developing the circular economy, and energy transition.

    **A model for clean energies**

Hungary praised Morocco’s progress in renewable energies, particularly in green hydrogen, positioning the Kingdom as a global reference in this field.

    **An expanded partnership**

Beyond environmental issues, Moroccan-Hungarian collaboration extends to other sectors such as education, scientific research, renewable energies, and nuclear industry. This dynamic reflects a shared desire to deepen bilateral relations on multiple fronts.

This memorandum reflects the commitment of both countries to combine their efforts for a successful ecological transition, while paving the way for sustainable collaboration opportunities in innovative fields.
