Yzza Slaoui Foundation recently announced that it has obtained the status of a recognized public utility association, marking a new milestone in its social and solidarity initiatives.

According to a statement from the Foundation, “this recognition, formalized by a decree from the Head of Government (Official Bulletin of December 25, 2025), comes after years of sustained commitment on the ground in favor of the most vulnerable populations in Morocco.”

    A recognition of its involvement

The attainment of this status “testifies to the rigor of the Foundation’s governance and the transparency of its actions, while demonstrating the effectiveness and relevance of its intervention models,” the same source emphasized.

It further specified that this recognition highlights the structural intervention axes of the Foundation, articulated around five fundamental pillars. It validates the successes achieved in these pillars:

    – Development infrastructures and living spaces.

    – Access to essential services (Health and education).

    – Skills development and community empowerment.

    – Access to vital resources and humanitarian solidarity.

    – Culture and photography.

By working for dignity and acting against poverty, the Foundation is building a sustainable footprint for dignity and equity.

    A stronger mobilization capacity

This new status will allow Yzza Slaoui Foundation to accelerate its deployment. It provides the opportunity to appeal to public generosity on a permanent basis and enables its private and institutional partners to benefit from tax advantages related to sponsorship.

“The attainment of public utility status is an institutional recognition that obliges us to strive for excellence, equipping us with the necessary tools to scale up and multiply our impact on the most vulnerable citizens,” stated Kenza Bensalah, President of the Foundation.

“We wish to express our gratitude to the public authorities for their trust, as well as to all stakeholders who support us in this mission,” she added, noting that this encourages the Foundation members to continue their efforts with the same commitment to transparency and human dignity.

Yzza Slaoui Foundation is a Moroccan non-profit organization dedicated to combating precariousness and the consequences of climate change faced by the most vulnerable populations. Its actions are part of a comprehensive and integrated approach, aimed at the development of communities and territories.

These intervention axes seek to provide coherent responses to human, social, and environmental vulnerabilities and promote the emergence of more autonomous, resilient, and supportive communities and territories.
