The Sidi Bel Abbes Association – Dar Al-Tifl Marrakech is organizing a major charity evening called “Ftour Solidaire” on Friday, February 27, in partnership with The Oberoi Marrakech hotel. Under the theme “A Night of Giving… for a Hopeful Future,” this event is part of the ongoing efforts by the institution to support vulnerable children residing at the center.

Founded in 1934, Dar Al-Tifl Marrakech is one of the oldest social institutions in the Kingdom. It currently accommodates nearly 400 children, providing comprehensive care that includes housing, education, as well as sports and technical guidance. Support is provided by a team of 71 professionals and specialized educators dedicated to ensuring appropriate educational and social follow-up.

The Ftour Solidaire aims to mobilize the financial resources necessary to fund the association’s educational and sports programs, as well as to support its infrastructure projects. Among the priority initiatives are the completion of the first pavilion, the initiation of work on a second to increase capacity, and the renovation of the kitchen, dining hall, and the old pavilions of the center. These projects must meet high technical standards to ensure the quality and safety of the daily food supply and the living conditions of the children.

The evening will also feature an artistic program with a spiritual dimension, in harmony with the atmosphere of Ramadan. Attendees will enjoy performances by singer Fouad Zbadi and Fatima Zahra Kortobi, accompanied by the Jossour orchestra, focusing on a repertoire of Moroccan and Eastern Sufi songs. More than 300 guests are expected, including public figures, philanthropists, and business leaders.

Beyond its cultural dimension, the event aims to serve as a moment of awareness and collective mobilization. The association calls on partners, media, and benefactors to actively participate in ensuring the success of this initiative. Each contribution is framed as a direct investment in the future of the children cared for, as well as participation in building a social model based on solidarity and equal opportunities.

Through this Ftour Solidaire, Dar Al-Tifl Marrakech seeks to reaffirm its historic mission: to provide the most vulnerable children with a stable environment, quality education, and sustainable future prospects.
