The National Ports Agency (ANP) has launched a call for expressions of interest for the installation of photovoltaic solar power plants in five ports: Casablanca, Jorf Lasfar, Agadir, Laâyoune, and Boujdour. This project aims to supply these ports with green electricity. Additionally, a desalination station will be installed at the port of Lamhiriz. The project includes technical studies, design, and supervision of the works, with a total budget of 1.7 million dirhams. This initiative is part of Morocco’s efforts to promote energy transition and environmental sustainability.
