GOMYCODE and the Jadara Foundation have reached a new milestone in their collaboration aimed at promoting digital inclusion and employability for young people from modest backgrounds. The two institutions announced the strengthening of their strategic partnership with a clear ambition: to make digital skills a genuine lever for social and professional advancement in Morocco.
Launched through an initial pilot called “Wings by Digital,” supported by Africa50, affiliated with the African Development Bank, the initiative has gradually expanded to form an integrated model combining technical training, social support, and the development of behavioral skills. The goal is to provide beneficiaries not only with operational skills in digital professions but also with the necessary tools to sustainably integrate into the labor market.
To date, more than 120 young people have undergone training in Full Stack Web Development across various regions of the Kingdom. In Hay Hassani, 34 female graduates have completed their journey through the Women Coders program, dedicated to promoting women in technology roles. Two new cohorts totaling 30 beneficiaries are currently underway as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH). In Nouaceur, a first batch of 12 learners was trained between June and December. In the Souss-Massa region, 43 graduates have completed their training, while the Digital Africa program currently has four active cohorts with a total of 41 beneficiaries.
The partnership is based on a clearly defined complementarity. The Jadara Foundation provides social support for the young people and enhances transversal skills, particularly soft skills, which are essential for professional integration. Meanwhile, GOMYCODE employs a pedagogical approach focused on project-based learning, collaborative work, and practical immersion in digital professions. This combination aims to maximize the beneficiaries’ chances of professional integration.
For both partners, technical training alone is no longer sufficient. The challenge lies in the ability to construct comprehensive pathways that incorporate guidance, mentoring, and personal development. This approach addresses the growing demands of the labor market, characterized by a sustained demand for digital skills.
By consolidating their alliance, GOMYCODE and the Jadara Foundation aim to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of talents capable of actively participating in the country’s digital transformation. The initiative is set against a backdrop where digital professions are one of the main drivers of skilled job creation and a strategic vector for national economic competitiveness.
Specializing in training for digital professions and new technologies, GOMYCODE supports both talents and organizations in developing skills related to digital transformation. Through this strengthened partnership, the school confirms its commitment to an inclusive digital landscape accessible to young people from all social backgrounds.
