The General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM) announced on Tuesday the awarding of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) label to Pharma 5, while renewing this distinction for the Casablanca Stock Exchange and Les Eaux Minérales d’Oulmès.
This award comes following a meeting of the Label Attribution Committee within the Confederation, CGEM stated in a press release, noting that the recognition applauds these companies’ commitment to CSR and their ability to systematically integrate the expectations of their internal and external stakeholders.
It also marks a new phase in their ongoing efforts for continuous improvement and the consolidation of their responsible practices, the same source indicated.
Indeed, the CGEM’s CSR label encourages Moroccan companies to adopt a holistic approach by integrating economic, social, and environmental imperatives at the core of their management strategy, the statement recalled.
It is granted for a duration of three years by the presidency of the CGEM, based on the advice of an Attribution Committee, following a managerial evaluation conducted by an accredited independent expert third party recognized by the Confederation.
Renewal occurs under the same conditions but with a higher level of requirements than the previous evaluation.
