Centrale Danone and Tibu Africa announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement aimed at supporting children and young adults in the province of Fquih Ben Salah through two innovative programs: “Sporting Generation” and “Professional Insertion of Young Adults through Sport.” These initiatives reflect Centrale Danone’s commitment to its communities as a certified B Corp™.

    ### SPORTING GENERATION
This program aims to transform public primary schools into spaces for health and physical activity. Thanks to the deployment of health sports facilitators, **5000 children from 10 schools** will benefit from a sports-focused education, thus promoting their physical, mental, and social development. This initiative also aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle from a young age, incorporating training on nutrition, in line with Centrale Danone’s corporate mission.

“Bringing health through food to the greatest number.”

    ### PROFESSIONAL INSERTION OF YOUNG ADULTS THROUGH SPORT
This program targets young adults in NEET (not in employment, education, or training) situations, who number 1.5 million according to the latest HCP report, and whose ages range from 15 to 24 years. By focusing on work-study training and acquiring professional experience in the field of sport, this project will create **25 jobs** for these young adults in Fquih Ben Salah after a **9-month** work-study training program. This program aims to provide young adults with the necessary skills for better socio-economic integration.

    ### BENEFITS OF THE PARTNERSHIP
This agreement will strengthen Centrale Danone’s relationships with the local ecosystem of Fquih Ben Salah, by closely collaborating with regional authorities, the economic and social fabric, as well as the local community. It also reinforces Centrale Danone’s position as a major player in improving the lives of local communities while supporting initiatives focused on health, education, and environmental preservation.

    ### Press Release
The agreement aims to achieve several objectives:
    – Provide children with learning and development opportunities while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
    – Equip young adults with skills and opportunities to access employment and contribute to regional economic dynamism.
    – Promote environmental preservation through training led by Centrale Danone employees.

*“By obtaining B Corp™ certification, we have taken a major step that demonstrates our commitment to the local communities of our production sites. This partnership with Tibu Africa is a concrete illustration of this. Through these sustainable initiatives, we aim to foster the proper development of children and the employability of young adults, while stimulating the socio-economic development of Fquih Ben Salah, where we have been present as an agro-industrial player for many years.”* – **Mr. Hervé Orama Barrère, CEO of Centrale Danone**

*“Sport is a driving force for social inclusion and personal development. With the support of Centrale Danone, we are convinced that these initiatives will have a lasting impact on the lives of children and young adults in Fquih Ben Salah, while enhancing their employability.”* declares **Mr. Mohamed Amine Zariat, Ashoka Fellow and Founder President of Tibu Africa.**
