As part of its efforts to position Morocco as a key player in the field of green hydrogen, the Green H2 Cluster is organizing, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, an international conference on E-Fuels on May 24, 2024, at the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé, Hotel and Residences.

This event, which will bring together nearly 200 stakeholders in green hydrogen, will be an opportunity to discuss advancements and prospects in the field of E-Fuels. Participants will address various topics, including the e-fuels market, technological innovations, and applications in diverse sectors such as the chemical, maritime, aerospace, and automotive industries. Additionally, discussions will focus on sustainable production policies.

In recent years, Morocco has taken significant steps to structure the development of the green hydrogen sector. The Green H2 Cluster plays a crucial role in this dynamic by promoting innovation, industrial integration, capacity building, knowledge transfer, and market development.

The opening session of the conference will be marked by the presence of prominent figures, such as Leila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Jeroen Roodenburg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Morocco, Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, Mehdi Tazi Riffi, CEO of TMSA, Tarik Hamane, Acting CEO of the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy, and Omar Alaoui M’Hamdi, Vice-President of the Green Economy Commission at CGEM.

This international conference represents a crucial step in Morocco’s commitment to green hydrogen and E-Fuels, thereby strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a leader in renewable energy and energy transition.
