In anticipation of Earth Day 2024, LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled a 3D anamorphic experience on its Times Square billboard in New York, highlighting vulnerable and endangered species. The LG Endangered Species series, which will run throughout 2024, features partnerships with Discovery Education and the National Wildlife Federation focused on educating K-12 students about conservation initiatives.

3D animals loom over Times Square

Unveiled on its dynamic Times Square billboard, LG will launch an out-of-home (OOH) digital campaign featuring anamorphic content that will spotlight some of the world’s most vulnerable and endangered species, as well as recovered species that need ongoing protection. Different species will be highlighted throughout the year, starting today with the snow leopard, followed by the bald eagle, Galápagos sea lion, and reindeer later in the year. The series will showcase each animal in a stunning 3D effect that will appear to extend out of the screen.

An educational program raises awareness for conservation

Through partnerships with Discovery Education and the National Wildlife Federation, LG will host an educational series for K-12 students on vulnerable and endangered species related to the Times Square billboard series. The LG Endangered Species series will help K-12 students better understand the unique qualities of endangered animals and the role they play in maintaining a healthy ecosystem while fostering an appreciation for what makes each species special. LG will distribute educational materials aligned with educational standards to students and educators across the United States. Earth Day Fair Life is Good

The LG Electronics North American Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, hosted the Life’s Good Earth Day fair on April 22. Open to the public, the event included a range of activities showcasing the importance of sustainable practices.

In collaboration with the National Wildlife Federation, the community fair provided valuable information on best sustainable practices and tips for establishing your garden as a certified wildlife habitat.

In addition to these activations, LG has worked to make Earth Day a daily reality by developing the most innovative products that provide consumers with significant savings through energy efficiency.
