Stellantis Morocco has announced the launch of the ECO BONUS, a program aimed at encouraging the renewal of the national vehicle fleet and accelerating the transition to cleaner motorization.

This initiative provides a 30,000 dirham bonus to owners of old vehicles who choose to acquire an electrified model from the group.

A Bonus for Replacing Old Vehicles

The scheme targets any owner of a vehicle over 15 years old, regardless of its brand or condition.

As part of purchasing an electrified Stellantis vehicle — whether hybrid, Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), or fully electric — customers can benefit from a 30,000 dirham buyback bonus in exchange for scrapping their old vehicle.

The vehicles taken back will be directed to licensed treatment and recycling centers to ensure their disposal meets environmental standards.

    Supporting the Energy Transition

Through this program, Stellantis Morocco aims to contribute to the reduction of pollutant emissions by promoting the replacement of older thermal vehicles, which often emit more CO₂, with more modern and energy-efficient models.

The initiative also seeks to facilitate access to hybrid and electric motorization, which remains scarce in the national market.

    Modernizing the Vehicle Fleet

According to Stellantis Morocco, this scheme addresses two major challenges: modernizing the Moroccan vehicle fleet and supporting the energy transition in the mobility sector.

“With ECO BONUS, Stellantis Morocco is taking concrete action for energy transition and the modernization of the vehicle fleet. We are facilitating the shift towards more sustainable mobility while providing a direct benefit to our customers,” stated Yves Peyrot des Gachons, General Manager of Stellantis Morocco.

This program is part of the group’s strategy to promote more responsible mobility and accelerate the adoption of electrified vehicles in the Moroccan market.
