    Unprecedented Mentorship to Propel Moroccan Female Students into Tech Careers

    The strong idea that underpins the entire project is clear: accelerating the inclusion of women in digital professions by creating a direct link between students and experienced professionals. It is around this ambition that the Ministry of Digital Transition and Capgemini are launching a national mentoring program, a new component of the “Digital Morocco 2030” strategy.

    This initiative is based on a simple principle: bridging the academic world with the realities of technology by entrusting senior executives and collaborators from Capgemini with the mentorship of students from public universities. These mentors, members of the Women in Leadership network, will share their journeys and expertise to guide their mentees in their career choices, professional preparation, and entry into the job market.

    The program will kick off as a pilot in several regions of the Kingdom. Twenty pairs will be formed for this first edition, with support extending over a full year: monthly meetings, skills development workshops, company immersions, and structured experience exchanges. The goal is to create a sustainable pathway to digital professions, also reaching students from underrepresented areas or those benefiting from scholarships, in order to enhance equal opportunities.

    In announcing this initiative, the delegated minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni emphasizes a vision: to make digital technology a real lever for inclusion and social mobility. At Capgemini, its General Director in Morocco, Badra Hamdaoua, views this program as a continuation of the group’s societal commitment and a concrete way to invest in Moroccan human capital.

    The timeline is already set: selection of pairs in November 2025, official launch in December, and national recognition on International Women’s Rights Day, March 8, 2026. The first edition will close in May, with the ambition of making it a sustainable and replicable model across the entire technology ecosystem.

    Supported by the Ministry of Digital Transition and National Reform Administration, this program adds to other structuring initiatives, including JobInTech, and illustrates the commitment to prioritize digital inclusion nationally. This approach clearly positions Morocco in a dynamic where technology becomes a driver of empowerment and opportunity for young women in the country.
