In anticipation of the next edition of the “ECOMONDO 2025” trade show, scheduled to take place in Italy from November 4 to 7 at the Rimini Exhibition Center, the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will organize a roadshow consisting of three international stages aimed at promoting content, technologies, and collaboration opportunities in key sectors of the ecological transition.

This international tour will include Egypt, Serbia, and Poland, thereby strengthening the dialogue between Italian companies and international markets and consolidating ECOMONDO as a reference hub for the green, blue, and circular economy in the Mediterranean and Europe, according to a statement from IEG.

“These three events will mobilize high-level international operators and buyers from the countries involved in the roadshow, with a view to their participation in the next edition of ECOMONDO,” it is specified.

The first stage will take place on July 8 in Cairo, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Egypt, the Italian Embassy, and the Office of the Italian Trade Agency, adds IEG, noting that the main topics to be addressed will be the water cycle, agricultural bioenergies, waste management, and energy efficiency.

The event in Egypt, which has defined a national climate strategy for 2050 and aims to produce 42% renewable energy by 2035, will include thematic sessions and B2B meetings between Egyptian stakeholders and Italian companies, with the participation of public and private operators active in the environmental sectors.

Subsequently, the roadshow will stop on September 9 in Belgrade, Serbia, in collaboration with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with the support of the regional advisor MZ Consulting, the organizers note, stating that this event will focus on waste management, solar energy, and water, strategic areas that are rapidly growing in the Balkans, where investments in sustainability are driven by local incentives and EU pre-accession programs.

On September 11, Warsaw will host the Green Grill format, initiated in collaboration with Confindustria Poland, indicates IEG, adding that this informal and low-environmental-impact event will focus on biogas, plastic waste management, water treatment, and solar energy.

Italian companies and Polish stakeholders will exchange ideas on concrete projects and applied technologies during this event, which takes place in a context where Poland is heavily investing in the modernization of its environmental infrastructure through European funds and national plans.

According to IEG, these three international stages provide an overview of the many major themes of the ECOMONDO 2025 edition, which will focus on seven major sectors: waste as a resource, the water cycle and the blue economy, site and soil restoration, bioenergy and agriculture, Earth observation and environmental monitoring, circular and regenerative bioeconomy, as well as the biennial SAL.VE, the ecological vehicle trade show organized by the National Association of the Automotive Industry (ANFIA).

A conference program, organized by the scientific and technical committee, will complement the trade show experience by analyzing in detail regulatory developments, ecosystem restoration, new forms of bioenergy, and predictive resource management, with a particular focus on the Mattei Plan and the role of green technologies in the African context.

ECOMONDO 2025 is organized with the collaboration of the European Commission, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the City of Rimini, ANFIA, and the European Environment Agency.
