In the face of persistent drought and increasing pressure on water resources, the Regional Multiservices Company (SRM) Casablanca-Settat is launching a large awareness campaign to encourage responsible water management.
Launched at the beginning of this summer, the initiative aims to encourage citizens to adopt simple eco-friendly gestures to reduce their daily consumption. Through educational videos broadcast on social media and various communication channels, the SRM intends to reach a wide audience while reminding everyone of the urgency for a change in behavior.
Local actions are also planned on the ground: fun activities for young people, educational activities in partnership with local associations, and awareness operations in the prefectures and provinces of the region.
This campaign is part of a broader commitment by the SRM, which carries out concrete actions to improve water management, notably through leak detection, network maintenance, and the implementation of structural projects. Among these are the securing of the water supply for western Casablanca, as well as the construction of 28 desalination and demineralization stations, spread across several provinces.
Through this mobilization, the SRM reaffirms its role as a pillar of public service in water management, serving more than 7 million inhabitants of the Casablanca-Settat region.
