It is from Marrakech, on the occasion of its ordinary general assembly, that the International Institute for Sustainable Transition in Africa (IITDA) presented its new development strategy covering the period 2025-2027. A major milestone that confirms its ambition to play a key role in the sustainable transformation of the African continent.

In this new strategic direction, the Institute places the convergence between resilience, inclusion, and sovereignty at the heart of its action. Through its field projects, applied research work, and its ability to bring together local energies, it aims to strengthen its position as a catalyst for ecological and social transition in Africa.

The roadmap is organized around five priority axes: actively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and the African Union’s Agenda 2063; strengthen the skills and means of action of local institutions and actors; expand partnerships while ensuring diversification of funding sources; establish rigorous monitoring and evaluation tools; and finally, enhance the reputation and influence of the Institute at the continental and international levels.

This plan reflects a clear intention: to make the Institute a strategic lever for a sustainable, autonomous Africa that is an actor in its own future.
