Morocco Telecom (IAM – Itissalat Al-Maghrib), which is participating in the 17th International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), continues its commitment to innovation by unveiling its latest AgriTech solutions.

This participation illustrates the historical operator’s desire to support the digital transformation of the agricultural sector and contribute to a more connected, sustainable, and efficient agriculture.

As the official partner of SIAM, Morocco Telecom contributes each year to reducing the digital divide in rural areas and to the development and modernization of environmentally friendly agriculture that provides quality food for all.

During this edition of SIAM, Morocco Telecom presents a “Smart Farm Space” where it showcases its solutions for transforming smart farms by providing the necessary infrastructure.

Thanks to innovative Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, farmers can achieve much higher productivity. For example, smart drones are now capable of detecting diseases and weeds, thereby optimizing the application of fertilizers and pesticides.

Additionally, connected collars allow for tracking animals in livestock farming, predicting disease risks, and identifying optimal breeding periods through the analysis of animal behaviors.

In this edition, Morocco Telecom presents its “Zoho tools” that contribute to the digitalization of agricultural activities.

In this regard, Morocco Telecom offers digital solutions to assist farmers in the commercial management of their activities, and simple, practical tools like Zoho Creator enable the easy design of custom e-commerce applications (low-code) that integrate product catalogs, order and inventory management, and connection with payment gateways.

And in a historic first for Morocco, Itissalat Al-Maghrib presented the very first interactive human avatar based on artificial intelligence in the Kingdom.

This revolutionary innovation is made possible by a state-of-the-art holographic display system. The ultra-realistic avatar naturally interacts with visitors by welcoming them, answering their questions in real time, and guiding them through Morocco Telecom’s services, while embodying the company’s vision for digital leadership and intelligent customer experience.

The avatar was designed in the likeness of the famous Moroccan actress Ibtissam Laaroussi, adding a touch of authenticity, charm, and cultural connection to this interactive experience. Its appearance and voice were digitally recreated using advanced AI and holography technologies, offering an emotional, engaging, and instantly recognizable presence.

The AI avatar communicates fluently in Arabic, French, and English, providing a smooth, human, and personalized experience that bridges the gap between cutting-edge technology and quality customer service.

As a leading operator in Africa, and a leader in Morocco and other countries, Morocco Telecom actively participates in the development of the telecommunications sector on the continent, with a presence in 11 countries (Morocco, Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Central African Republic, Chad, and Togo).
