The **very small and medium enterprises (VSMEs)** play a key role in the Moroccan economy, but their transition to sustainable practices is still hindered by financial, technical, and structural challenges. To address this, **Enactus Morocco**, in partnership with **Spark** and with financial support from the **European Union**, is launching a **strategic study** as part of the **”Green Forward”** program.

    ### A diagnosis to structure support for green VSMEs

This initiative aims to **identify the barriers** to the adoption of sustainable models by VSMEs and to **propose concrete solutions** to strengthen their integration into the **green and circular economy**. The study will focus on several areas:

    – **Analysis of financing and technical support needs** for VSMEs,
    – **Assessment of technical, financial, and organizational obstacles** hindering their transition,
    – **Development of strategic recommendations** to facilitate access to resources and market opportunities.

    ### Structured support for a sustainable ecosystem

As part of the **European initiative for the green and circular economy**, the **”Green Forward”** program will intervene at several levels:

    1. **Capacity building** of **Business Support Structures (BSS)**,
    2. **Creation of practical and green tools** to support ecological transition,
    3. **Facilitation of exchanges** between entrepreneurs, experts, and institutions,
    4. **Development of policy recommendations** to effectively integrate the green economy in Morocco.

An **expert** will be recruited to conduct **focus groups** with VSMEs and BSS, analyze the blockages, and propose an **adapted roadmap**.

Through this approach, **”Green Forward”** aims to create a **sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem**, aligning **public policies** and **actors in the green sector** to accelerate the transition to a **low-carbon economy**.
