The Banque Populaire Foundation strengthens its commitment to sustainable development and education with the inauguration of a photovoltaic station at the Mohammed VI Technical High School in Marrakech. This innovative project positions the institution as a regional model in green energy, contributing to better energy efficiency and raising students’ awareness of environmental issues.

A significant event for education and the environment

The inauguration ceremony brought together several personalities, including the Director of the Provincial Delegation of National Education of Marrakech-Safi, the President of the Executive Board of Banque Populaire Marrakech-Béni Mellal, as well as the high school principal, teachers, local authority representatives, and members of the Banque Populaire Foundation. This event marked a significant advancement towards greater integration of renewable energies in the educational sector.

A concrete project for a sustainable energy transition

The photovoltaic station, consisting of 104 solar panels, will provide clean and renewable energy, allowing for a significant reduction in the establishment’s energy costs. This project is part of an approach to raise students’ awareness of renewable energies and to promote a responsible approach to energy consumption.

By offering a sustainable solution to environmental challenges, the Banque Populaire Foundation contributes to forming a generation of citizens aware of ecological issues and engaged in the energy transition.

An expansive commitment to education and digital inclusion

As part of its support for educational institutions, the Banque Populaire Foundation also provided 90 refurbished computers supplied by the BCP Group to the high school students. This initiative aims to facilitate their access to digital tools and to enhance their skills in new technologies, a crucial lever for their academic and professional success.

A strong commitment to a sustainable future

Through this action, the Banque Populaire Foundation reaffirms its role as an engaged actor in education, inclusion, and sustainability. By investing in projects that combine innovation, social responsibility, and energy transition, it concretely translates the vision of the BCP Group: to build a better future, together.
