    BANK OF AFRICA has been awarded two new prizes at the Global Frontier Brand Awards 2024, highlighting its pioneering role in promoting Sustainability in the financial sector, namely: “Excellence in Strategic Sustainability Leadership – Africa, 2024” and “Outstanding Sustainability Leader in Financial Services – Morocco, 2024.”
    These distinctions, awarded following a rigorous evaluation process, illustrate BANK OF AFRICA’s ongoing commitment to Sustainable Development and its ability to lead strategic initiatives with a Sustainable Environmental and Social impact.
    Under the leadership of its President Othman Benjelloun, BANK OF AFRICA has established itself for nearly two decades as a reference player in financing and impact initiatives. In 2000, the Group became the first African signatory of the United Nations Environment Programme Financial Initiative (UNEP FI), marking a key milestone in its commitment to Sustainable Finance.
    Since 2015, BANK OF AFRICA has developed an innovative range of financial products to support its clients in key areas such as energy efficiency, water resource management, and the circular economy. The Group has also integrated Environmental, Social, and more recently, Climate risks into its portfolio management.
    The BANK OF AFRICA group stands out for numerous achievements, notably through the actions of the BMCE Bank Foundation for Education and the Environment, as well as obtaining ISO certifications for its Environmental and Energy Management System, a unique initiative in the Moroccan banking sector.
